Jajce (Museum City) Tour

We head from Sarajevo (or any other city upon your desire) very early in the morning at 8 AM. Generally before we reach Jajce we shall be having one interesting conversation regarding the whole point of the tour, and once we are there, everything explained earlier would be made into living history.

The ride to Jajce will take us around 2:30 hours. What is important to know we shall be seeing some very interesting places such as Travnik, Vitez, Komar, Donji Vakuf and of course amazing flow of beauty called river Vrbas and of course river Bosna.

Once there, first thing we go and see is one of 12 World most beautiful waterfalls, and the only one in the World placed just in the city center, famous Pliva Waterfalls - place where Pliva end its flow and meets Vrbas is simply breathtaking. 

After we bless our eyes and our soul we go for a walking tour through Jajce. We visit Jajce Citadel (Fortress), the Mithraic Temple - tauroctony, the Museum of the Second Session of the National Liberation Army of Yugoslavia (AVNOJ), Medvjed Kula, the Tower of St. Luke, famous Catacombs, long time admitted to be World's ONLY female named Mosque of Esma Sultanija, and of course we share many more interesting stories and see places about whole history of City Museum - Jajce. 

Jajce Citadel is amazingly interesting place giving us great opportunity to see whole area around us and Jajce itself.

Of course, once we are there we shall be going for some local food. Bear in mind that tasting some LOCAL food is our priority in doing our tours, because we believe that getting to know one country requires much more than just visiting places, eating food is samely if not more important :)

After we have "tasted" Jajce we go for the Lakes. In the vicinity of Jajce on Pliva river there are two lakes. Only five kilometers away we drive/walk to check out Large and Small Pliva lakes.
 
Whatever you want, walking around, kayaking or canoeing (in 1963. World and European Championship in kayaking and canoeing on still waters were held on Pliva lake), laying on the beaches, doing some swimming, even fishing or just photography - everything is only "ask" away :)

The most amazing part of the lakes are Mills on small Pliva lake. Amongst people famously called "Mlinčići", once have been promotional material for postcards from Great Austria-Hungarian Monarchy. We check them up as well.

After lakes it is time to go back.

On the end of the day, we drop to one of the most famous restaurants and taste local "Pura" (What Pura is? Simply book our tour and see for yourself :)

We are not sure if we managed to saduce your heart or your mind with this interesting itinerary, but honestly this place is far better and amazing than words will ever be.
