Sanski most is located on the banks of the Sana River. Due to the favorable geographic location and the climate, this area has been inhabited since the prehistoric age. Therefore, nowadays we have the significant sites from that period, such as Hrustovačka Cave, Dabarska Cave and the flat graves site. The oldest document that refers to this area dates back in 1244. The Ottomans conquered the city in 1463 and the Kamengrad Fortress had a significant role in the border area. The natural beauties are typical for this area and therefore,many activities like cycling , fishing, speleology have been developed.
