In Sarajevo old part at the intersection of Sagrdžije and Čemerlina streets is building of Shariat law school. It was built in 1887 in pseudo-Moorish style by Karlo Paržik.
Shari’at law school (mekteb-nuvad) was opened in December of the same year as five-year higher school. The building is located at the plateau, and creates great impression. The interior is specific, because there are two atriums, or inner courtyards with fountains (howz).
